Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport → Arusha / Moshi
Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your dedicated Chaga Adventures guide. After introductions and a brief overview of your safari, you’ll be transferred to your comfortable hotel in Arusha or Moshi to relax and settle in. This first evening is a chance to unwind from your travels, enjoy a delicious dinner, and prepare for the exciting days ahead. Your guide will review your itinerary with you and answer any questions so you feel ready for the adventure.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park Game Drive
After an early breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a spectacular wildlife destination known for its vast herds of elephants and majestic baobab trees. As you enter the park in your private 4×4 safari vehicle, your guide will begin your first full day of game driving.
Tarangire is especially rich in wildlife during the dry season, when animals gather around the life-giving waters of the Tarangire River. Here you’ll have excellent opportunities to see elephants in large numbers, graceful giraffes browsing the trees, and a variety of predators on the hunt. Your guide will share insights into animal behavior and the park’s unique ecosystem as you explore at your own pace. In the late afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive out of the park to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area & Crater Safari
After breakfast, journey toward the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most extraordinary wildlife environments on the planet. Upon arrival, you’ll descend into the crater—a massive volcanic caldera teeming with wildlife.
The Ngorongoro Crater offers a unique safari experience: its compact ecosystem supports one of the highest concentrations of animals in Africa. During your full-day game drive inside the crater, you may encounter lions lounging in the shade, herds of buffalo grazing peacefully, graceful zebras, and even the rare black rhinoceros. A picnic lunch in the crater adds to the sense of adventure as you soak in the incredible scenery and wildlife activity.
In the late afternoon, you will ascend back up the crater walls and return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Departure from Kilimanjaro International Airport
On your final day, enjoy a relaxed breakfast before your guide transfers you back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
